Saltdean Sunday was created in 2021, a continuation of my very popular Beach Painting Series. Inspired by my love of summer. This painting captures sunny weekends spent on a local beach where on the right tide you can jump from the concrete groyne into the sea. There is a wonderful local energy to this area, where loads of local kids hang out and enjoy the summer days together.
This original artwork comprises of acrylic on canvas, this piece is stretched and framed in a simple box frame made of painted wood.
